Parkwood Baptist Church Ministries
The ministries of Parkwood Baptist Church aim to give everyone solid biblical direction for life. The Scriptures give us our direction, and it is the Word of God that brings the clarity and direction we need when we find ourselves at difficult crossroads.
We hope you find a place to grow and to serve along this wonderful journey we walk by faith.

Children’s Ministries @ PBC
The Childrens Ministries at Parkwood Baptist Church strive to cultivate young disciples of Christ through education, service, worship, and relationships.
Children’s Sunday School
Classes for all preschool and elementary age children are offered at both the 9:30 and the 11:00 Sunday school hours
Babies, Creepers, Toddlers
For the child birth through 24 months, these classes offer a chance for young disciples to explore God’s creation as they gain experience interacting with each other and adults.
Twos
Children age 24 to 36 months will be engaged in active learning through sensory experience and reinforcement of concepts and activities related to scripture.
Threes – Pre-K
In this class of three and four year olds we engage children in activities that expose them to scripture as we encourage a Christ-like life.
Kindergarten through sixth grade
The children in these classes are grouped by age. During the 9:30 hour they experience interaction and examination of spiritual concepts through stories, prayer, and various activities all related to scripture in a classroom setting. During the 11:00 hour children will gather in a large group/ small group format and engage in activities that will challenge them to live their faith outside of church while nurturing relationships to Christ and each other.
Kingdom Kids Choir
Two different classes are offered for children ages four through sixth grade. A variety of activities engage the children as they learn basic music fundamentals and praise God through voice and song. The confidence they gain will be put into practice as the children lead the congregation in music on a regular basis. Kingdom Kids meets every Wednesday night following the Wednesday Night Dinner.
4th, 5th , & 6th grade “M” Group
This weekly gathering is intended to give kids a place to express themselves as they learn about spiritual maturity. With a decidedly mission minded focus, the young people in this group will gain a greater understanding of selfless service. Of course, they will also be having fun and building relationships with each other as they do their Kingdom work. The M Group meets every Wednesday night from 6:15-7:15pm, in the Youth Area @ Parkwood.
