to build a Biblical community of fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ to reach our community with God's love.
The Bible: is the complete and final authority for our beliefs and behavior.
Jesus: We believe God freely offers eternal life to all who are truly sorry for their wrong doing and graciously receive through faith the forgiveness God has made available because of the death and resurrection of Jesus, His unique and only Son.
The Holy Spirit: Lives inside all believers and teaches, comforts, and empowers us for special service to others. Fostering interdependence, Christ-like character, and genuine love.
Baptism: When a person consciously decides to be a true follower of Jesus, the public expression of that inward choice is an act of christian discipleship -- being baptized by immersion in water, as was Jesus himself.
Fully Devoted Jesus Followers: We believe that Christians should become fully devoted, passionate Jesus followers. This commitment is lived out through: a priority on public and private worship; serious attention to becoming more like Jesus in belief and behavior; service to others develop a personal relationship with God
A full statement of beliefs is contained in the pamphlet, The Baptist Faith and Message, 1963.
